We cannot provide economic stability with government spending continuing the way it has in 2009. The "stimulus", "Job Bills" and industries bailout has to end. History has proven that during economic recessions, it is the small and medium business entrepreneurs and the consumer that has bailed us out not the Government. It is simple economics peaks and troughs.

Our rising debts to foreign countries will be passed on to our children and our grandchildren. The fact is that we have become a country that lives beyond its means; we spend more than we earn, we consume more than we produce, and we import more than we export. We need to focus on the issues that are holding us back from being more competitive and what is preventing us from increasing exports. I have several ideas that will help revitalize Missouri's producers and ideas that will attract large business and charter business back to Missouri.

"If you know how to spend less than you get, you have the philosopher's stone."
Benjamin Franklin

All this spending and government bail-out has put us in very dangerous waters. It has created a form of never before seen unaccountability and disregard for personal duty. Ronald Reagan once said that "status quo is Latin for 'the mess we're in.'" We are in a mess, but Americans are tough, and we can weather this storm if we make better decisions. I also would advise the Governor of Missouri not to accept anymore federal stimulus money as this will only weaken the state's power and give more unconstitutional control over Missourians to the federal government.
